Aquila
in the Middle East Historically
it is seldom that one can announce the availability of a brand
new car built specifically for the Middle East. Soaring into
the Saudi public consciousness and onto the wish lists of classic
sports car enthusiasts in region is the Aquila (Latin for Desert
Falcon) range of heritage sports cars. Aquila Sports Cars of
UK is offering Saudi dealerships the opportunity to carry the
exciting new model in their showrooms at an introductory commission
of 11% - a rate that will remain in place for the duration of
any arrangement between us. [More]

Aquila
Sports Cars take over the heritage range of YKC cars
New
kit car company Aquila have taken over the YKC range of heritage
sports cars originally created by Don Burt. The Aquila line
up has a strong and worthy heritage. Now being built to the
exacting specifications demanded by new owner Milan Mladenovic,
the Aquila is built in new premises in Rainham, Essex –
quite close to the Ford plant that supplies the Ford Zetec,
DOHC, 8-valve, EFI with catalytic converter drive-train.

New
Old Roadster from the UK: The Aquila
It’s
based on an old Alfa Romeo, but the new Aquila is thoroughly
British, in a “remixing the past” sort of way. Like
the Morgan, it’s a throwback with modern updates, including
a Ford Zetec four-banger standard (though an inline six and
and a Rover-sourced V8 are optional). [More]

Aquila
Sports Cars launched its top of the range Julietta S model at the
National Kit Car Motor Show at Stoneleigh on May Day weekend. Hardly
had the dustsheets been removed before crowds gathered – both
fellow exhibitors and the general public. Milan Mladenovic and his
team knew that the technically and stylistically modified car was
something rather special – but were ecstatic to see how the
fans clearly took the Julietta S to their hearts.

Aquila
brings compact, old-style open-top motoring
There's
a new sports car on the block. We Brits never seem to tire of
making sports cars using the tried and tested formula of a steel
chassis topped with GRP body panels, and the Aquila is no exception.
The swoopily-styled Aquila, which sits on a ladder-framed chassis,
has more than a hint of Morgan about it, with a hint of Bugatti
in there too.
